The workplace ELTRONO® enables working with several monitors
under ergonomic optimal designed conditions:
 The
background panel offers a private atmosphere and working
environment and therefore increases the concentration.
The
adaptive light ensures the correct luminance contrast to reduce
eyestrain and fatigue. It also increases your efficiency and
accuracy when you are viewing your pictures.
The
height adjustability and the »Ergo-Tilt™« provides an optimal
working position both in sitting and standing. It alleviates the
pressure on the body and reduces stress related injuries as
mouse arm and carpal tunnel syndrome etc.

Working Positions
 To make your work environment as comfortable as possible,
Planilux has developed and improved many of the ergonomic
features and functions.
The
main work surface can be electronically tilted from 0 to 15° (»Ergo-Tilt™«)
in order to provide the best possible working position, support
and comfort. This will reduce the risk of musculoskeletal
stress, such as mouse arm, carpal tunnel syndrome and neck- and
back strain.
According
to many ergonomists, it is vital to vary your working position.
ELTRONO® offers you the best possibilities among all work
places. With »Ergo-Tilt™«, the monitor surface is tilting 8-15°.
This enables you to recline without loosing the distance and
viewing angle towards the monitors by bringing the monitors
closer and at the same time tilting the work surface.
From
an ergonomist's point of view: The best working position is
always – the next. ELTRONO® offers a motorized height adjustment
for standing or sitting position, from 620 to 1200 mm, and
therefore facilitates all individual work positions.
Features
Adaptive
light
There are two separate and integrated light sources. Both are
encapsulated and dimmable. The work light is bright enough for
reading, so this system makes it independent of existing light
in the room. In the automatic mode, the background light is
controlled by a sensor and is automatically adjusted to ensure
an optimal luminance contrast between the ambient light and
monitor. This will reduce eyestrain and fatigue. In the
automatic mode the work light is automatically switched off. The
two light sources will always ensure an optimized illumination
for your digital image viewing. The adaptive light is patented.
Sound
ergonomics
The background panel is sound absorbing and removes up to 35 %
of the noise level. It shields you from distractions from behind
and to the side of the monitors. It offers you a private
atmosphere for better concentration and at the same time makes
it possible to have more work places in the same room.
Touch-screen
panel
With just a touch of a button, you can easily monitor all
ELTRONO® functions, the »Ergo-Tilt™«, the height adjustability
and both light sources. As an option, ELTRONO® offers the
possibility to store and recall preset height and tilt positions
for several users. Each user can retrieve and get immediately
his/her ergonomic workplace setting.
Work
surfaces
ELTRONO® offers one tiltable main work face with a large mouse
pad that keeps your keyboard, mouse and pens in place when the
surface is tilted. One non-tilting surface, intended for books,
voice recording system or other accessories.
Foot
rest
Use the flexible foot rest in standing position to alleviate the
pressure on your lower back. Swing it out of the way when not in
use.
Monitor
holders / arms
Four flexible monitor holders VESA 100 mm (75 mm) on two poles
that are shiftable to the left and right, come as standard. You
can easily mount, for example, three 21'' flat screen monitors
in portrait mode and one 19'' flat screen monitor in landscape
mode. Additional monitor holders are available on request.
CPU
holder
Integrated with the table – out of the way and off the floor. An
optional second CPU holder can be added and mounted.
Cable
management and installation
A cable duct is provided, located in the back of ELTRONO®, with
a sufficient number of power outlets for CPUs, monitors and
other external power supplies. All cables are stored in the
cable duct. Only one cable cord leads from the equipment to the
wall outlet (this avoids cable chaos and enables easy cleaning).
In the front, for easy access, there are some further power
outlets for equipment like mobile charger, voice recording
system etc.
Options
/ accessories
Small light box for analogue pictures, mounted on flexible arm.
Specially developed for the viewing of analogue mammograms. Can
be mounted on the fixed table top.

Seating
To complete your ergonomic workplace, we recommend a comfortable
chair. Whatever supplier you choose, the chair should have a
high seat back, a height-adjustable neck rest and flexible
armrests. We will be happy to offer you a suitable chair.
